This position starts at $18.00 an hour on our 1st Shift 6a-2:30p Monday- Friday.

Requirements

• Truck driving experience is required.
• Must obtain forklift certification within 10 days of hire.
• Forklift training will take place during normal business hours
• Willing to work in warehouses without heat or air conditioning. Our distribution center is climate-controlled; however, some of the warehouse locations do not have heat or air conditioning.
• Willing to work independently for extended periods. You may be the only person working in our warehouses outside the distribution center.
• Basic math and computer skills will be required
• Requires regular and predictable attendance
• GED or Highschool Diploma
• Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms
• Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen.
• Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
• Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Able to perform repetitive movements
• Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)

Nice To Haves

• A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is not required but is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Put away pallets using a variety of material handling equipment and pull material from various warehouses located within 5 minutes of our distribution center.
• Operate a small box truck for transporting material between the warehouse and distribution center
• Expect to lift up to 80 lbs. and need to be capable of pushing/rolling pallets up to 1500 lbs with a pallet jack.
• Be willing and able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and work overtime as needed
• Contribute to our culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all safety policies and operating procedures
