About The Position

In this function you will: Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. Perform quality checks as instructed. Create/Update MO Manufacturing Orders for fabrication item numbers and act on exception messages as instructed. Load fabrication production plan into machine software and act on exception messages as instructed. Locate fabricated material into rack / cart / GO locations. Perform inventory counts of fabricated material. Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy. Receive and process material kitting orders in a timely manner to execute production schedules. Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment in a safe and competent manner. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals. Own and lead 5S process and discipline for assigned warehouse area. As needed, receive and process incoming raw material and ensure inventory process is followed correctly. Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), order picker, automatic pallet wrapper and pallet jack. Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending suggestions for improvement related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety and health. Minimum 18 months of manufacturing, distribution, or military experience. Minimum two years of fork lift experience (Sitdown or Standup). Proficient with computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook) Vista, DMM, AS400, and Mapics. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50-miles of El Paso, TX will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment.
