Position Summary Working under minimal supervision, the Material Handler III serves as a lead in the absence of the Supervisor and ensures accurate inventory management in SAP. This role supports multiple functions including RTS (Return to Stock), stockroom, cycle counts, WIP support, shipping, receiving inspection, and receiving. The ideal candidate will reconcile inventory variances, maintain line record accuracy, and act as a liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the production line.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in material handling or logistics.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Proficiency in SAP and RF scanning.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced PC skills and familiarity with Jabil’s software packages.
  • IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Experience in inventory reconciliation and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure SAP accuracy at all times.
  • Perform at least three of the following functions: RTS, stockroom, cycle counts, WIP support, shipping, receiving inspection, or receiving.
  • Reconcile inventory variances and make necessary adjustments.
  • Report line record accuracy to Supervisor and Manager.
  • Act as a liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the production line regarding inventory or shortages.
  • Use RF scanners and SAP to put away material and verify transactions.
  • Pull and split kits per system-based procedures.
  • Scan kits to the G drive and pull shortages to ensure completeness.
  • Count returned material from the line to ensure system accuracy.
  • Maintain organized box build areas and replenish kanban materials.
  • Validate carton count against bill of lading and match packing slips.
  • Sign for deliveries after validation.
  • Verify PO, part number, quantity, and supplier; complete receipt to dock in SAP.
  • Perform de-trash procedures to maintain cleanliness.
  • Follow inspection plans and special instructions.
  • Verify packing slip, receipt, and inventory quantities.
  • Perform SAP transactions and inventory adjustments.
  • Obtain and maintain Quality Control Inspection certification (IPC-A-610).
  • Understand and follow domestic and international shipping procedures.
  • Schedule/manage transportation carriers per corporate guidelines.
  • Perform physical movements, system transactions, and verifications.
  • Support month-end shipments, including potential overtime.
  • Operate material handling equipment as needed.
