Requirements

  • Warehouse Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or shipping environment preferred (window manufacturing a plus).
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Forklift Skills: Prior forklift experience required, with in-house certification available.
  • Physical Capability: Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Math & Coordination: Able to solve basic math problems (including fractions) and discern colors.
  • Dexterity & Strength: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Departmental Operations: Perform all departmental activities according to standard operating procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Offload vinyl bundles, receive materials into the Frontier system, and organize inventory locations.
  • Machine Assistance: Operate vinyl insert bundle machines and assist with cutting sample chips.
  • Material Verification: Receive materials, verify against packing slips, and ensure orders are complete per documentation.
  • Secure Shipments: Properly secure loads to minimize damage and breakage.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull orders from stocked inventory as directed and maintain accurate paperwork for all shipments.
  • Cycle Counts & Inventory: Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory preparation and completion.
  • Safety First: Use personal protective equipment correctly and adhere to all safety protocols.
