Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 3 or more years related experience
  • This position works between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm to 6 am Monday through Friday depending on assigned shift. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Picks and processes orders.
  • Operates material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, telehandlers, hand trucks etc.).
  • Places materials at point of use in assembly and warehouse environment.
  • Communicates and coordinates with shop personnel for needed material.
  • Maintains compliance with company policies.
  • Maintains compliance with all OSHA and Company safety requirements.
  • Cleans and maintains work area.
  • Use of hand and power tools.
  • Identifies ways to improve processes and participate in implementing those improvements.
  • Uses keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Adheres to 5S principles ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Cross-trained in at least three different areas/tasks.
  • Ability to train employees on tasks.
  • Capable of filling vacancy of Manufacturing Lead on as needed basis.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
