About The Position

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler II (1st Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do: Eaton's Commercial Product Assemblies division is currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team on 1st shift. This position is based at our Hodges, SC location. Hourly Rate: Starting at $18.00 Position Overview: The Material Handler will be responsible for material movement within the facility with focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role will be responsible for material handling for the Low Voltage Assemblies. They will work with a team and flex in all areas of the warehouse and logistics department as needed. In this function you will: Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve goods, supplies, and materials efficiently. Ensure all forklift operations comply with safety regulations and company policies. Perform regular maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they remain in optimal working condition. Use radio or other communication tools to coordinate with team members and prioritize tasks effectively. Adhere to standard operating procedures and method sheets. Verify the accuracy of deliveries and inspect materials for any damage. Perform inventory transactions through the MRP system accurately and promptly. Conduct cycle count transactions as required. Safely transport materials throughout the facility. Safely load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and shelves. Dispose of scrap materials (excluding metals) according to procedures. Comply with all safety policies/procedures and WSRA's. Flex to other areas as needed or perform tasks of other positions as needed.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship
6 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
6 months of experience operating a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck)
Proven problem-solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills.
Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus
Collaborate with team members.
Being flexible and open to changes in processes or tasks.
Able to work independently with minimum direction.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workplace. (5S+)
