About The Position

Job Summary: T he Material Handler will assist with picking, packing, pulling and staging materials for our customers . Assist with safely loading trucks via forklifts/pallet jacks . Supports the outbound Logistics department by being well organized, safe, and keeping the warehouse clean. Works well with basic computer programs for basic transactions in our E RP system and usage of RF scanners. Key Job Responsibilities: Participate in warehouse setting for staging/loading material by packaging items, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks when needed Identify , label and stage materials properly through company ERP system for outgoing orders Maintain company warehouse material through organizing, cycle counting and cleaning designated shipping areas on a regular basis Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of finished stock in designated shipping area Follow all company rules and policies Ability to load outgoing materials and products onto semi-tractor trailers Coordinate with members of the team to maximize productivity and efficiency within our Logistics department Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in proven warehouse practices and methods
• 1+ years of Forklift/pallet jack skills
• Ability to apply basic math concepts
• Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced company environment
• Soft skills include, being a team player, detailed communication skills, time management, problem solving and critical thinking

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP/SAP system
• 1+ years of experience with RF scanners
• 1+ year with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse computer software

Responsibilities
