Position Overview: Customer Service in Siemens Mobility, Inc. is seeking a reliable professional to coordinate and maintain material movement from the Siemens Mobility, Inc Distribution Center in New Castle, DE. The Materials Handler I will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders, and assisting with organizing and maintaining existing inventory. As a member of the Warehouse Team, the incumbent will report directly to the Warehouse Manager in the Supply Chain Management Department of Customer Service in Siemens Mobility, Inc.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, and carrier communication/coordination.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Suite applications.

  • Experience working in a corporate setting.
  • Preferred experience working with multi-million-dollar contracts.
  • Knowledge of Siemens Mobility Inc. material movement processes.
  • Organizational skills for maintaining large sets of data.
  • Leadership abilities to foster positive interaction with diverse groups.
  • Understanding of safety principles and how to operate in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to adapt to constant change and implement new processes.
  • Ability to work through adversity in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

  • Foster collaboration between the Warehouse and other pillars of the SCM.
  • Receiving & Put-Away of incoming deliveries.
  • Building of Production Orders to KIT materials.
  • Shipping of material via LTL & Freight.
  • Cycle Counting of materials within the Warehouse.
  • Processing of Repair & Aftermarket materials.
