About The Position

In this function, you will: Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. Perform quality checks as instructed. Receive and process material kitting orders promptly to execute production schedules Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment safely and competently. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals. Own and lead 5S process and discipline for assigned warehouse area Receive and process incoming raw materials and ensure the inventory process is followed correctly Prepare finished products for final shipment including packaging, documentation, and loading, and ensure on-time delivery Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), order pickers, automatic pallet wrappers and pallet jack Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending suggestions for improvement related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety and health. Minimum of one year of forklift operation experience (sit-down/standup). Minimum of six months of work experience with an RF Scanner. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of El Paso, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment. Two years or more of forklift operation experience (sit-down/standup). Position Success Criteria: Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem-solving skills. Work with individuals and groups to effectively participate within a team environment. Computer literate. Knowledge of AS400, VISTA, and MAPICS systems. Knowledge of Lean and continuous process improvements. Ability to lift. push, and pull up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to squat and reach above the head with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to physically operate a forklift with or without reasonable accommodation.
