About The Position

Purpose of Position Responsible for the movement of goods (Raw & Finished) throughout the production and warehouse in a safe and timely manner. Responsible to ensure work orders/cases are verified and scanned to the load before shipping. Inspect all cases to ensure they are free from damage and product that has been ordered by the customer is exactly is shipped. Must also ensure all corresponding paperwork is correct for processing by the shipping office. Consistently pulls/selects and ships products and materials at a level that meets or exceeds current quality requirements and the demands of AAF Flanders. As with all positions in the shipping department, must ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are followed as they are written to ensure quality measures are met. Must have knowledge of operating and working as a Yard Jockey. The schedule will be Monday - Friday from 5:00 a.m. till 1:30 p.m.

Requirements

Ability to drive a forklift in a safe manner adhering to all safety guidelines.
Must have basic math skills.
Good reading and writing skills.
Must have good communication skills.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
Must have the ability to interact with team in a positive manner.
Must be able to prioritize task according to their importance or urgency.
Must have a positive attitude to adapt to change.
Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
2 years previous forklift experience
Must complete and pass Phase 1 of forklift program.
Must be able to operate a forklift in a professional manner and have good maneuverability skills.

Responsibilities

Responsible for unloading/loading trailers in the reasonable expected (RE) time.
Responsible for locating pallets in the reasonable expected (RE) time.
Responsible for ensuring that orders shipped out are accurate.
Adhere to all safety regulations in forklift operations.
