About The Position

Position Summary: The Material Handler 1 is responsible for moving products using a forklift/pallet jack within the warehouse. This position is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
Move products and/or pallets from one location to another using a forklift or pallet jack.
Maintenance of the trash dock.
Clean/sanitize the compactor and surrounding dock area.
Empty trash compactors when full.
Monitor trash dumpsters to ensure items/products are being disposed of properly.
Bail plastic and cardboard materials to load onto the trailer.
Monitor inventory of iGPS and wooden pallets and report to the Warehouse Coordinator/Supervisor.
Maintain a clean working environment, this includes but is not limited to: Warehouse areas, Coolers, Docks and Trailers
Ensures all areas remain cleaned and tools are returned to rightful locations
Perform other duties as assigned.
