Primary Focus: The primary role of the Material Handler/Forklift Driver is to provide all required materials to each department before they are required. Specific Accountabilities: Operates forklift equipment as required, ensuring that safety standards are followed. Moves raw materials to production lines as assigned. Ensures that supplies arrive in proper quantities as scheduled. Conducts all materials handling procedures in accordance with established Company policies and procedures and safety regulations. Place all materials in the designated area. Ensure that all parts have been accounted for based on the pick list. Check off all delivered parts before the end of your shift. Communicate with Supervisors to ensure clear lines of communication. Multi-task and prioritization in accordance with company daily schedule and requirements. Accurately update the inventory management system to reflect real-time inventory status and facilitate easy tracking. Perform periodic audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies with the Inventory Analyst team. Monitor and report any material damage or discrepancies. Proficiency with computer-based inventory systems, including MRP/ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Sage, or similar, preferred). Ability to accurately enter, track, and reconcile inventory data within MRP/ERP systems. Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly and navigate digital workflows efficiently. Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) for material movement, inventory accuracy, and production support. Comfortable generating reports, analyzing data, and troubleshooting system discrepancies within ERP environments. Other duties as assigned.
