About The Position

Maintains an orderly raw material and finished goods inventory to enable VEKA to
provide a quality product/service to its customers. The shift for this position
is 600 to 1800 Thur/Fri/Sat and every other Wed.

Requirements

• Dependable and punctual
• Good planning skills
• Ability to work independently and with accuracy
• Drive to take initiative
• Flexibility in work assignments and responsibilities
• Mandatory forklift experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining raw material flow to extrusion lines
• Responsible for screening compound before filling it into the hopper
• Takes daily inventory of raw materials used on shifts
• Recycles contaminated compound into Super Sacks
• Stages hoppers for backup material
• Responsible for good housekeeping of compound areas and mezzanine
• Inspects the forklifts daily before shift
• Follows safety guidelines while on forklift
• Other duties as assigned
