Requirements

  • Must be able to meet minimum physical requirements.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates, co-workers, supervisors and managers.
  • Must be able to understand and follow all instruction; both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to work with other team members and departments.
  • Must pass a drug/alcohol screen. Must meet the standards and be able to follow the company's
  • Fitness for Duty Policy Agreement (HRF-030) after hire. (Note: Accommodations will be made in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act).

Responsibilities

  • Safety is #1 priority; a condition of employment which entails following and enforcing plant-wide safety procedures, environmental regulations and guidelines for the safety of all employees and for the environment.
  • Required to wear proper PPE.
  • Assists in planning and setting up products for packing.
  • Responsibilities for completing daily "Lift truck operator's Inspection Report."
  • Responsible for daily visual inspection of "Crane and Straps."
  • Required to load/unload trucks.
  • Operate computerized weigh scales.
  • Must be able to operate scanner.
  • Utilize safety equipment, respect break periods, and maintain clean and tidy work area.
  • Able to work with limited supervision and in a cooperative team spirit.
