Collins Aerospace - Fort Worth location is looking for a Material Handler Associate II, who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials (parts) from receipt into the warehouse, kitting onto kit carts, movement of the material to operations for assembly, and shipping material to the customer. Your expertise will be crucial in setting up, packing, and transporting these materials with precision and care. Work shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm with weekend overtime offered regularly

Requirements

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Warehouse, stockroom and or shipping experience
  • Forklift Experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Perform receiving, reviewing POs and documents, and putting the material away into stocking locations.
  • Checks receipts against purchases order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects.
  • Perform packing and preparing documents such as commercial and military pack slips, bill of landing, and any other shipping document required, while following export control guidelines.
  • Prepare items for shipping or delivery according to customer specifications.
  • Operate crane, hoist, and powered truck to move materials.
  • Assemble orders to kit carts, check against shipping or customers order, and reports shortages and incomplete orders.
  • Stacks shipment on skids and takes shipment to shipping dock.
  • Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
  • Rapid response to critical customer material deliveries according to business needs.
  • Perform accurate SAP and the associated physical movement of material to maintain traceability of material as it moves around the facility
