Our New Berlin location is looking for a Yard Material Handler and Sales Associate who will do a combination of both positions. For the Sales portion of the role, one will take phone calls, build quotes and orders for pick up or delivery and assist with all customers’ needs as they enter the store. Our Yard Material Handler portion will provide exceptional customer service in our outdoor yard environment with the use of proper material handling practices and PPE to load, unload, and store material. Starting rate $18 hourly! Annual Performance based raises!

Responsibilities

Take phone calls
Build quotes and orders for pick up or delivery
Assist with all customers’ needs as they enter the store
Provide exceptional customer service in our outdoor yard environment
Use proper material handling practices and PPE to load, unload, and store material
Understand the building materials marketplace and know product features
Work to meet prospect customers’ needs
Effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add on sales
Effective closing technique
Quote follow up- quote to order conversion
Share expertise with others
Inventory management and merchandising of product
Safe and proper use of equipment and materials
Work outside year-round in a variety of seasonal weather conditions
Customer service skills to service our customers
