About The Position

The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity and is looking for a Material Cost Analyst (Experienced or Senior) to join the Air Dominance Proprietary team located in Berkeley, MO. The Analyst selected for this position will be responsible for analyzing material costs, managing material budget baselines, developing cost models, and providing insights to support decision-making processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience in a Finance related role such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis
  • 3+ years of experience with financial forecasting and budget creation
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of cost models to support the budgeting and forecasting of material and subcontracted efforts
  • Management of Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics related to material and subcontractors (analyzing and integrating Major Subcontractor Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Reports (IPMDARs) and collaborating with Supply Chain and Engineering to manage subcontractor efforts)
  • Partner with Control Account Managers (CAMs), Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leaders, and Supply Chain to manage cost and schedule baseline, and support key processes such as the Estimate to Complete, risk and opportunity identification, Variance Analysis Reports and recovery plans
  • Analyze supplier Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSR) and Expenditure Profiles to monitor execution to plan, identify variance drivers, and ensure adequate funding is available across the supply base
  • Preparation of reports for management and monitoring changes in supplier pricing
  • Support of cost control measures and best practices
