One of our Clients in Coppell, TX needs a Material Coordinator for a contract. Position: Material Coordinator Location: Coppell, TX Clearance: Public Trust The Material Coordinator will manage government-designated warehouse facilities and storage areas for temporary storage, accountability, relocation, and disposal of project and excess materiel. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience maintaining accountability documentation in compliance with TSA, federal, and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of warehousing experience, preferably in a government or regulated environment.
  • Experience managing inventory, accountability documentation, and shipment processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to lift, move, and transport warehouse materials as required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage designated warehouse and storage areas for temporary storage of project and excess materiel.
  • Store materiel in an orderly manner using a systematic warehouse location plan.
  • Retrieve, prepare, document, and marshal materiel for issue, relocation, or disposal.
  • Conduct quarterly wall-to-wall inventory reconciliations.
  • Perform bar-coding of incoming accountable property and process asset accountability documentation.
  • Ensure pick-up receipts are processed within 24–48 hours.
  • Verify that items and quantities are accurately reflected on all turn-in documents (manifests, bills of lading, and related documentation).
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed, signed, and secured for transport.
  • Affix required hazardous material or controlled substance documentation in accordance with TSA, federal, and state procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed accountability documentation including: Packing lists Invoices Signed hand receipts Warehouse entry/exit records
  • Maintain organized records of all materiel entering and leaving the warehouse facility.
  • Prepare materiel for outbound shipment by securely boxing, crating, padding, and wrapping items to prevent damage.
  • Coordinate with appropriate TSA activities to arrange shipment services as required.
  • Assemble and disassemble furniture and equipment per manufacturer or agency instructions.
  • Manage shredding and destruction of documents in compliance with TSA policies.
  • Schedule appointments with contract shredding services.
  • Prepare documents for secure transport and ensure proper destruction procedures are followed.
