About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Material Coordinator to join our F/A-18 Material Maintenance Operations team in San Antonio, TX. Position Responsibilities: Conduct inventory of stored materials and reports deterioration/ damage Remove and issue material from storage and prepare for shipment Perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment Perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrance due to weather or physical location and conditions. Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties Housekeeping, inventory control and other pertinent coverage. Review and analyze production scheduling requirements to determine products, materials, and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient materials and hardware to meet schedules Identify, investigate, analyze and determine best solutions and coordinates the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules and budgets for material cost

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability
  • 1+ years of experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • Ability to obtain and/or already possess a forklift operator certification
  • Experience using a computer to complete work-related activities
  • Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
