This Material Control position involves comprehensive warehouse and inventory operations, including unloading various types of trucks (UPS, FedEx, Motor Freight), palletizing and boxing equipment for shipment, and managing inventory items within the warehouse. The role requires pulling items for assembly or direct shipment, operating a forklift, and interacting with a computer terminal for order entry and processing. Key aspects include tagging and staging received items, loading outgoing shipments, conducting inventory cycle counts, and managing Non-Conformance Report (NCR) items. It involves investigating receiving discrepancies, arranging stock transfers, and collaborating daily with production support and site management to enhance efficiency. The successful candidate must be diligent in self-learning, actively participate in company Safety Committee Meetings, and be flexible in adjusting daily tasks. Urgency, pressure for prompt and accurate results, multi-tasking, and managing interruptions are routine. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
