In the role of Material Clerk II you'll play a pivotal part on our Shipping team. This position is responsible for working in the Logistics Department and will be responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, packaging, and shipping parts in a timely manner. Works in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities. This position contributes to our vision by: • Works in receiving and perform necessary tasks to receive parts in timely manner • Stocks parts in the appropriate locations after applying identification labels and fills back orders • Kits parts from stockroom locations for variety of orders. • Performs part receipt and issue transactions in Business System (Movex) • Performs all Logistics related transactions in Movex for parts issues, credits, and scrap. • Accurately counts parts if assigned to the cycle count team • Delivers parts to specified locations within the company premises • Packages parts for shipping process and perform shipping transactions • Operates FEDEX/UPS stand alone systems • Loads Ocean containers • Keeps assigned areas organized and clean • Performs other duties as assigned • Performs dispatch duties when needed with following responsibilities: • Picks-up and delivers parts to suppliers locations and freight moving companies • Delivers parts to the assigned receiving personnel in the company • Coordinates with the supervisor on the daily dispatch routes • Loads and unloads delivery vehicles • Represents Monogram in professional and dependable manner • Keeps in organized manner the assigned vehicle maintenance records • Ensures assigned vehicles are kept maintained and in excellent working condition • Keeps the supervisor informed about any maintenance related issues of the assigned vehicles

Requirements

  • Forklift and cherry picker experience to pick and move parts to higher locations in stockroom. The maximum height the cheery picker goes up to is 24 ft.
  • Ability to operate PC with knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software packages
  • Prior Experience creating excel spread sheets and entering data
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and take the initiative
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must possess basic Math skills and be able to comprehend varying units of measure
  • Must know how to use measuring scales, weight scales, and counting scales
  • Ability to utilize barcode scanning equipment
  • Basic understanding of logistics process and Bills of Materials
  • If selected to perform dispatch function should possess following additional skills:
  • Broad understanding of supply chain functions and processes
  • Must be able to determine efficient and cost-effective routes
  • Must be able to follow delivery and pickup instructions
  • Experience driving a bobtailed truck and ¾ ton delivery van
