In this role, you can expect to keep production moving by ensuring materials are received, verified, and delivered where they’re needed. You’ll coordinate part movement between departments, manage material availability, and handle all receiving dock activities. Your work will be key to supporting schedules for production, aftermarket, and experimental projects.

  • Plan and Prioritize Work\: Organize tasks and materials to meet production schedules, ensuring timely assembly and delivery
  • Manage Materials and Inventory\: Track, move, and deliver parts, kits, and assemblies; review stock levels and coordinate with material planners to avoid shortages
  • Coordinate Receiving and Quality\: Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, inspect for damage, and ensure proper flow through Receiving and Quality Assurance
  • Support Production Readiness\: Stage tools, cut and store material sheets (pre-preg) used in aircraft structures, and maintain shelf-life tracking to keep production on schedule
  • Operate Equipment and Maintain Records\: Use material handling equipment and measuring devices, perform inventory transactions, and update system records accurately
  • Collaborate Across Departments\: Work closely with production control, schedulers, and supply chain teams to resolve shortages and maintain smooth operations
  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
  • Ability to use simple arithmetic such as addition and subtraction of decimals and fractions, together with simple drawings and measuring instrument is needed
  • A minimum three months experience in Material stores, receiving/final confirmation with exposure to freight bills, supplier packing sheets, production routings and stockroom/warehouse requirements, and scheduling/expediting
  • A valid Forklift Operations Certificate card is required
  • Ability to work in conditions exposed to some dust and noise is needed
