About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a Material Clerk. What you will be doing as a Material Clerk: In this role, you can expect to be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth material flow and efficient communication across departments. You'll handle everything from receiving and verifying materials to unloading trucks and presenting materials. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be key in maintaining our high standards. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): Organize and Present Materials: presentation of materials, and tools to meet production and assembly schedules. Material Management: Maintain adequate levels of materials, tools, parts, kits, and assemblies for various production areas Interdepartmental Coordination: Regularly interact with production control, supply chain, material stores, manufacturing engineering, and other departments Material Tracking and Batch Management: Track material age for applicable materials, coordinate with Material Requirements Planner on order releases and splits Receiving and Inspection: Coordinate receiving activities for incoming goods, inspect received articles for damage, and ensure proper use of material handling equipment Shipping and Handling: Perform packing, crating, and shipping duties; prepare necessary shipping documents

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required
  • A knowledge of aircraft parts, specifications, and parts control procedures is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary training and licensing related to moving equipment is required. This may include, but is not limited to: · Fork-lift · Stock Chaser · Tug · Truck · Van
  • A minimum 3 years related experience is required
  • OR previous experience as an internal Textron Aviation Material Clerk C with at least one year experience
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills is required
  • Ability to work in shop conditions with exposure to dust, fumes, weather, and noise
