Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree in manufacturing technology or a similar field preferred
• Must have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
• Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
• Must possess good problem-solving skills
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with employees
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Willingness to work as team member or independently
• Must be committed to continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree in manufacturing technology or a similar field preferred

Responsibilities

• Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes requirements
• Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
• Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers
• Confers with department manager to determine status of assigned projects
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
• Prepares production reports
• Works closely with Logistics team to ensure proper materials and quantities are on hand
• Provides clear and concise instructions to operating personnel regarding order requirements
• Manages inventory levels and monitors aged material
• Communicates with leadership team regarding scheduling needs
• Other tasks as assigned
