About The Position

Analyze new and existing production orders, assign production jobs to workstations, and coordinate process operations Plan schedules, considering factors of inventory, capacity, labor, waste, and quality Assign start date/time and end date/time for production jobs and process operations Work with the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager to expedite and adjust work schedules Place and release orders for Outside Processing as needed using the ERP system- SAP preferred Collaborate with procurement to identify and maintain optimal order quantities, safety stock levels, inventory control, and cycle counts. Report on procurement obstacles and proposed solutions Expedite delivery of open orders, as dictated by customer demand Cycle count administration/analysis Partner with production leadership to optimize production performance

Requirements

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Three (3) or more years with materials planning or production scheduling experience
  • Proficiency with manufacturing scheduling systems; MRP/ERP systems- SAP preferred
  • Willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency
  • Strong communication (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects in an efficient manner
