Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. Raytheon is seeking a Master Scheduler who will report through the Integrated Business Planning organization. This role will require the individual to load and maintain master schedules to meet production schedules along with program and customer expectations. The Master Scheduler will evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure schedule executability, using analysis to perform simulations and address risk. This highly collaborative position requires a motivated self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives in a demanding environment. The individual selected to fill this role will need to be able to interface effectively with all levels of management in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, Visio)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data mining, data analytics, or relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

  • Experience using SAP
  • Prior Master Scheduling, BOM Planning or Material/Production Planning experience

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned programs, serving as a key point of contact for the Integrated Business Planning team, ensuring customer commitments are met
  • Communicate and drive resolution of supply concerns with supply and demand planning, factory value stream leads, contracts, supply chain, operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders as needed
  • Address scheduling issues and drive cross-functional teams towards meeting cost and schedule commitments to our internal and external customers
  • Use data analysis to unlock the potential of data and achieve valuable outcomes, including informed decisions, improved problem-solving, efficiency & optimization
  • Use internal tools to prepare simulated schedule scenarios to understand and analyze the impact of a schedule load or change.
  • Support data integrity in SAP and other systems as needed
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in planning/scheduling processes
  • Interact with internal and external customers with respect to product/material planning, problem resolution, and process improvement
