The Master Scheduler is responsible for translating demand signals, open orders, and operational inputs into a clear, executable production schedule. This role ensures alignment across Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain by proactively identifying constraints, balancing capacity, and driving disciplined execution. Operating in a non-MRP environment, the Master Scheduler plays a critical role in building scalable scheduling processes, improving throughput, and ensuring on-time delivery across the business.

Requirements

3–7+ years in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or operations within a manufacturing environment
Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis (capacity planning, demand inputs, variance analysis)
Solid understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and resource leveling
Experience managing constraints, lead times, and throughput in a manufacturing setting

Nice To Haves

Experience in a non-MRP or evolving systems environment strongly preferred
Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and/or BI tools (Power BI is a plus)

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and continuously refine the master production schedule using open orders, work logs, and capacity inputs.
Convert demand forecasts and sales orders into a feasible, leveled production plan across machines and resources.
Proactively identify bottlenecks, material constraints, and resource limitations; escalate risks and recommend solutions.
Partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure daily execution aligns with the production plan and business priorities.
Monitor schedule adherence and make real-time adjustments to maintain throughput and delivery commitments.
Build and continuously improve scheduling processes, tools, and standards to drive efficiency and scalability in a non-MRP environment.
