About The Position

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. Position Summary: The Master Scheduler is responsible for owning and maintaining the enterprise Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure alignment between demand, supply, capacity, and inventory objectives. This role serves as a critical link between S&OP decision-making and operational execution, providing a feasible, balanced production plan that supports customer service, cost, and operational performance.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of master scheduling, MRP, capacity planning, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced planning tools (SAP preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain planning principles, including demand planning, supply planning, master scheduling, MRP, and capacity planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to lead structured planning discussions and present complex information clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • High level of attention to detail, organization, and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise-level capacity planning, including rough-cut and medium-term capacity assessments.
  • Identify capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and risks across manufacturing sites.
  • Develop capacity scenarios and mitigation plans to support demand changes and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the capacity planning portion of the S&OP Supply Review, presenting constraints, trade-offs, and recommendations.
  • Partner with Operations to validate capacity assumptions and improvement plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in alignment with approved S&OP outputs.
  • Translate demand forecasts and customer requirements into feasible production plans considering capacity, labor, and material constraints.
  • Coordinate with Supply Planners, Plant Production Planners, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service to ensure schedule alignment and execution.
  • Monitor and report on planning KPIs including schedule adherence, service levels, inventory performance, and capacity utilization.
  • Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, data accuracy, and system utilization.
