About The Position

The Master Scheduler/Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with customer demand. This role serves as a key liaison between Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain, balancing demand and capacity while driving data-driven decisions to optimize performance. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, proven experience with SAP, and the ability to act with urgency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with SAP (PP/MM modules) and advanced Excel or other data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across multiple departments.
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with MRP, capacity planning, and demand forecasting principles.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and communicate the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity.
Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales to translate customer forecasts and orders into executable production plans.
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure material availability, capacity alignment, and production readiness.
Use SAP to manage scheduling, demand planning, and materials requirements; monitor system data accuracy and integrity.
Analyze demand and production trends to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide proactive communication to stakeholders regarding schedule changes, delays, or constraints.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and inventory turns.
Lead cross-functional meetings to review and adjust production priorities as needed to meet customer expectations.
Utilize data analytics tools to provide insights and recommendations for efficiency and process improvement.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling, planning, and supply chain processes.
