Requirements

  • Advanced Planning Skills: A Master Scheduler III must possess advanced planning abilities to develop, implement, and maintain complex scheduling systems that align with organizational goals.
  • Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze production data, forecast demands, and identify trends is crucial for effective scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in Scheduling Software: Expertise in using industry standard scheduling and ERP software, such as Microsoft Project or SAP, is essential for creating and managing schedules efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision is necessary to ensure that all aspects of the schedule are accurate and that potential conflicts or issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills are required to coordinate with various departments, convey scheduling plans, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Problem Solving Abilities: Master Scheduler III must be adept at identifying scheduling conflicts and developing solutions to overcome obstacles that may disrupt the production timeline.
  • Time Management: The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently ensures that schedules are maintained and deadlines are met consistently.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes: A deep understanding of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, is important for creating realistic and achievable schedules.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively within cross functional teams, fostering a cooperative environment to achieve common goals.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: A commitment to ongoing learning and process improvement helps optimize scheduling practices and adapt to changing business needs
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. Responsibilities

  • Schedule Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on demand forecasts, production capabilities, and inventory levels.
  • Cross Functional Coordination: Collaborate with departments such as sales, production, procurement, and logistics to ensure alignment of schedules and resource availability.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze scheduling data to identify trends, capacity constraints, and areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Resource Allocation and Management: Allocate resources effectively to meet production goals and adjust schedules as necessary to address changes in demand or capacity.
  • Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and production issues promptly to ensure on time delivery of products.
