About The Position

HID is seeking an energetic, innovative production scheduler to join the fulfillment operations group based in our North American Operation Center. The production scheduler is a highly collaborative position that plays a key role in the success of the AMER Fulfillment Operations. This position will support all fulfillment activities to maintain and improve scheduling accuracy, capacity planning capabilities, order management and other business metrics. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing or production environment experience is preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and Agile platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the flow of fulfillment through backlog management, order management, and material constraint coordination.
  • Performing scheduling activities including reschedules, holds, ATP maintenance, and back-to-back scheduling.
  • Submitting on time and accurate PIM changes.
  • Entering and maintaining late line and lead-time data.
  • Conducting follow-ups on missed customer commitments as needed.
  • Supporting order escalation, prioritization, and scheduling in partnership with Production and Value Streams.
  • Assisting Production Control staff with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Compiling and distributing reports as requested by management and Master Schedulers.
  • Identifying and communicating potential fulfillment and scheduling risk factors.
  • Collaborating with Supply Chain, Order Entry, Operations, and Production teams on order execution.
  • Providing backfill support for Production Control team members during absences.
  • Supporting delink requests and managing general order management email inquiries.
