About The Position
The Acute Care team provides intervention and support to individuals who are experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Responsibility and Learning Opportunities: Conduct supervised crisis assessments and contribute to intervention planning. Provide brief counseling and support to individuals during crisis situations. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care. Develop skills in risk assessment, crisis management, and effective referral practices.
