About The Position

Justice Resource Institute (JRI) supports the Department of Youth Services (DYS) by placing qualified Clinical Directors and Clinicians in their Northeast, Central and Southeast programs. This Master's Level Clinician/Therapist position is based in a DYS’ Sharp Transition Program in Worcester, MA . This program provides a stable and supportive environment for males (ages 12-21) in the juvenile justice system. Compensation The pay range for this position is $63,000 to $68,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future. What You'll Do: This position is set within a secure program setting. The primary role of the Clinician is to work with the management team to provide a stable and supportive environment for the youths on the residential unit. In this role, you will identify a unit behavioral treatment plan for each youth assigned, and will be expected to maintain professionalism and work alongside other professionals, within DYS, and as needed with other agencies. Training is provided in suicide risk assessment, crisis stabilization and management, and DBT and CBT. Clinicians gain valuable expertise working within a juvenile justice environment! Clinical licensure supervision is provided and supported. This full time position may require the ability to work one evening per week and weekends. Requirements: Must be 21 years or older. Master’s Degree in license-eligible field (LMHC/LICSW) required. Upon attainment of independent licensure, Clinicians receive a $3,000 raise. Maintains a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record as driving record check will be performed. State/Federal background will be performed.
