About The Position

Who We Are Looking For:   Are you the Clinician we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by co- leading a dynamic team and bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!   The Merrimack Center is an intensive residential treatment setting for youth with intellectual disabilities and major mental illness that specializes in trauma informed care. We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and accredited by the Joint Commission. Merrimack provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical, nursing, and direct care staff. Compensation The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future. YOU will be able to develop innovative and individualized treatment plans to support our students as they work toward reaching their clinical and treatment goals. YOU will be able to manage a caseload of students to help them discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop life skills such as cooking, banking, vocational skills, and more. Your day-to-day work will support students in developing a sense of self and provide them the skills to be successful in their next steps.  Why JRI? Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology required.
  • New graduates welcome to apply!
  • Clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LMFT) or able to sit for clinical licensure required.
  • We will help you!
  • Clinical experience with adolescents is necessary and familiarity with DBT, CBT, ARC and/or other trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
  • Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting students is required.
  • At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our clients!
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
