About The Position

7 Flags Car Wash has proudly served Northern California for over 60 years. We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician with advanced electrical and industrial maintenance expertise to support our growing portfolio of car wash and automotive service locations. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who values independence, trust in their expertise, non-seasonal stability, and consistent hours. You will operate a company-provided vehicle (take-home included) and deliver repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance support across multiple sites. All new maintenance team members receive extensive paid training to gain a deep understanding of our equipment and systems. Driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role. A DMV pull is required All travel is same-day, within a 75-mile maximum radius of Fairfield, CA

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 or more years of combined, overlapping industrial maintenance experience, including hands-on experience in the areas below (experience is not required to be cumulative): Electrical repairs on industrial equipment and building systems Machinery repair, adjustment, and component replacement Preventative maintenance and lubrication systems Building systems (HVAC, lighting, water, sewer) Troubleshooting and repair of pumps Dismantling and reassembly of machinery and equipment PLC-controlled equipment Pipe fitting tasks performed independently
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Valid California driver’s license and ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with 12 VDC to 480 VAC electrical systems and 115 VAC control circuitry
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distributed multi-site environments
  • Comfortable using shop tools and maintenance-related equipment
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrates a high sense of urgency while maintaining safety and quality
  • Customer-focused, adaptable, and able to work effectively with a variety of personalities

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced electrical, mechanical, and industrial maintenance on car wash equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Diagnose and service PLC-controlled systems, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and operational impact
  • Support site safety, cleanliness, and operational standards (GMP-style practices)
  • Travel between company locations using a company-provided vehicle
  • Work independently while coordinating with operations and leadership as needed
