JB Poindexter & Co. or "JBPCO" is looking for a Master Data Analyst (MDA) responsible for planning, managing, and executing the activities associated with detailed analysis and maintenance of all vendor master data. This individual is a key participant in the development of and adherence to master data processes, governance standards, policies, and protocol to drive efficiency, minimize risk, and ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefered Associate’s degree and 3+ years of experience working in data management, accounts payable, supply chain, or related discipline within an ERP system environment.
  • Preferred knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the Vendor Master database;

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and process/reject vendor setup/change requests, according to established procedures, while ensuring the quality, integrity and confidentiality of vendor information;
  • Work directly with internal business partners to ensure data requests are complete and comply with company standards;
  • Analyze reports to ensure and protect the integrity of master data
  • Investigate and resolve data system issues and respond to inquiries related to vendor master and its functionality;
  • Assist with vendor management training materials and facilitate sessions as needed;
  • Contribute in the development of forms, procedures and work instructions. Identify data quality or process improvement opportunities;
  • Work directly with external parties to set up vendors in system
  • Participate in projects with focus to increase effectiveness of vendor master data team
