About The Position
This position is responsible for operating switchboards, commercial playback servers, and following daily station logs for KAYU/KCYU/KFFX/NAYU/NFFX.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in electronic communications, broadcasting, or multi-media computing preferred

- Basic skills in operating audio/visual and other electronic equipment
- Extensive computer experience
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to follow standard procedures during high intensity situations, work effectively under pressure without supervision, and maintain effective working relationships with staff
Responsibilities
- Operates audio/video switching consoles for all stations simultaneously
- Monitors equipment to ensure quality of signal being delivered
- Inputs and operates computer servers for commercial playback
- Operates satellite receiving equipment
- Maintains logs and paperwork, as required, and prepares daily variation reports
- Operates transmitter per Federal Communication Commission regulations
- Responsible for company security and safety procedures during business hours
- Performs related duties as assigned
