About The Position

We are looking for technicians / mechanics who are self motivated and have a positive attitude. Technicians who thrive here are ambitious, have strong diagnostic skills, enjoy working on a variety of vehicles, career oriented, and enjoy flagging hours. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix all types of makes and model vehicles for our guest Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of diesel, domestic and foreign vehicles Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively Utilize technology to maximize tech hours as well as bay efficiency Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Requirements

Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest.
Self motivated - Wants to maximize flagged hours each week and a desire to grow in your profession.
5+ years of experience as an automotive mail line diagnosing technician/mechanic
Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles.
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
Professional appearance and strong communication.
A desire for long-term career development.
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
Drive manual transmissions vehicles
Efficiently navigate a computer

Nice To Haves

Master A Level Technicians preferred
ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
