About The Position
Fortis College Richmond is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Massage Therapist to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Massage Therapy program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Massage Therapy courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Massage Therapy program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma
- Licensed Massage Therapist in VA
- At least three years of experience as a Massage Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- BCTMB is not required but highly desired
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
