About The Position

Signia by Hilton La Cantera is looking for an on-call Massage Therapist to join their Spa team! Nestled high above the rolling hills and live oaks of the Texas Hill Country, Signia by Hilton La Cantera offers a serene resort experience featuring over 140,000 sq. ft. of event space, a luxury spa, outdoor pools, a kid's camp, and an 18-hole championship golf course. Guests can savor bold flavors across four restaurants and five bars, with convenient access to premier shopping, dining, Six Flags, and the San Antonio Airport. What will I be doing? As a Massage Therapist, you would be responsible for performing massages and/or body treatments for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard.

Requirements

Ability to communicate in English is required.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years experience working in a luxury spa setting.
Minimum of 750 hours of massage certification.
Proficient in at least three additional specialty modalities, including Hot Stone and Salt Stone massages, and Sports massage.
Current TDLR license.
Must adhere to state sanitation laws and requirements.
Must have the ability to learn new spa services to meet the needs of the spa.
Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
Must be professional in appearance and demeanor.
Must always ensure a teamwork environment.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests and associates.
Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

To perform all massage services including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal massages and body treatments, following the established protocols, and allotted treatment times.
To comply with all company policies and procedures.
To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
To always maintain the safety of work areas.
To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Provide the highest level of personalized guest service while maintaining an enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
To conserve and monitor supplies and assets of the spa.
Complete shift checklists daily, replenishing supplies, cleaning equipment and re-stocking laundry.
To attend all scheduled treatment and product knowledge training sessions.
To directly set and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
To assist in the training of other team members as directed.
Assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed.
To promote spa services and products throughout the property.
To use available time to help with spa operations as requested.
To recommend additional treatments to guests as appropriate.
To suggest in written format home care products and treatments as appropriate.
To represent the Loma de Vida Spa and La Cantera Resort in a positive and professional manner as requested.
To continually market the spa internally and externally by attending special events when requested and building relationships.
Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
Attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
