About The Position

The ACH PD Massage Therapist position is part of the allied health team and is responsible for employer-based massage therapy product offerings. This position under the general direction of the Atlantic Corporate Health Department Manager, Director and Occupational Health Medical Director will use evidence-based practices and measures when providing client services. Responsibilities

  • Chair or table massage (main responsibility; 10-, 15-, or 20- minute sessions)
  • Evaluate clients regarding pain and stress areas, guide clients through service offerings and determine what massage is most appropriate, and listen for feedback regarding applied technique for adjustments that best fit each client and refer to medical team or for additional massage at the Chamber Center for Well-Being when appropriate
  • Health and wellness education/public speaking, inclusive of developing new services and educational products (some)
  • Interpersonal communication commensurate to the corporate climate
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic massage therapy hygiene and COVID-19 protocol practices between clients
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Maintain records and client notes as requested
  • Schedule future massage appointments
  • Take part in regular hospital trainings and meetings
  • Travel/On-site/Mobile capabilities (employer service area is one hour radius of Morristown, NJ)
  • All other duties as assigned
