Massage Therapist, Per-Diem, Day Shift

Job Summary: Provides treatment for physician referred patients and patients seeking care independently in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings and at employee and community events.
Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Certified Massage Therapist or Practitioner: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Massage therapy practice experience: Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides massage therapy care to patients, employees and physicians.
- Adheres to and follows treatment precautions identified by physical therapists, nurses and physicians.
- Observes for changes in patient responses and reports changes to appropriate nurses and physical therapists.
- Provides daily and timely patient chart documentation of interventions and services provided in the acute care setting.
- Documents employee and out-patient treatments, as necessary.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
