About The Position

Dr. Wilkinson's Backyard Resort & Mineral Springs located in Calistoga is in search of both Full-Time and Part-Time Massage Therapists! Our ideal candidate will provide professional, therapeutic and rejuvenating massage therapies and body treatments to spa guest. This is an on-site, non-exempt position that reports to the Spa Director. The pay range for this position is $16.99 per hour. Weekend availabilities. Requirements

Must adhere to state sanitation laws and requirements.
Must have an ability to learn new spa services to meet the needs of the spa.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
Possess a courteous, friendly and professional manner.
Must have an understanding of sales and the importance of meeting goals.
Must be trustworthy and reliable.
Patience and tact required to accommodate customer needs, and resolve occasional difficult situation.

Responsibilities

To perform all massage and body work services including table and chair massage, body treatments, bath treatments, foot treatments following the established protocols, and allotted treatment times.
To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Provide the highest level of personalized guest service while maintaining an enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
To conserve and monitor supplies and assets of the spa.
Complete shift checklists on a daily basis, replenishing supplies, cleaning equipment and re-stocking laundry.
To attend all scheduled treatment and product knowledge training sessions.
To directly set and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
To assist in the training of other team members as directed.
Assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed.
To promote spa services and products throughout the property.
To use available time to help with spa operations as requested.
To up-sell treatments to guests as appropriate.
To prescribe in written format home care products and treatment as appropriate.
To represent the spa and hotel in a positive and professional manner as requested.
To continually market the spa internally and externally by attending special events when requested and building relationships.
To comply with all company policies and procedures.
To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.
