About The Position
The Massage Therapist administers massage therapy and soft tissue work for clients to restore function, relieve pain, and provide general relaxation. This role plans, prepares and executes safe therapeutic massage plan specific to needs of clients with careful consideration of any restriction. Keeps accurate documentation. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certificate of completion and competency in Massage Therapy School.
- Cancer Center: Oncology specific training and experience required.
- Certified Massage Therapist in the State of California
Nice To Haves
- Cancer Center: Oncology Massage Certification or equivalent
- Manual Lymph Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy Certification preferred.
