About The Position
Cedar Park Group is seeking a skilled Mason / Concrete Laborer for a project in Oriskany Falls, NY. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on concrete and masonry experience who are ready to start immediately and bring their own tools to support finishing and installation work on-site. Schedule/Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Position Overview The Mason / Concrete Laborer will support concrete placement, finishing, and masonry-related tasks including surface leveling, edging, and general site work. The ideal candidate has solid field experience, is comfortable using hand tools, and can work efficiently as part of a crew while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of concrete and masonry experience
- Must bring tools of the trade, including:
- Bull float
- Hand trowels
- Edger
- Additional concrete finishing tools
- Experience with concrete finishing and surface work
- OSHA 10 required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a crew
Nice To Haves
- Experience using a power trowel
Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete placement and finishing
- Use tools such as bull floats, trowels, and edgers to achieve proper surface finish
- Perform basic masonry and concrete labor tasks as needed
- Support site preparation and cleanup activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Work with the crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule
