Overview Apply and remove all masking and plugging materials to customer product in a safe, productive manner in accordance with customer requirements This is a hands-on, fast-paced general labor position in a manufacturing environment — perfect for someone dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work.
Requirements
- Entry-level candidates welcome — no prior manufacturing experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
- Ability to read and understand work orders and safety instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing masking methods based on customer product specifications.
- Responsible for preparing raw material for masking to include, but not limited to hand wiping and blowing out holes.
- Reference blue prints to accurately assess masking requirements specified on print.
- Helps monitor inventory levels and the request to purchase supplies and materials to meet production requirements in a timely manner.
- Assists in the inspection of product and notifies the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.
- Records masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.
- Packages parts to safely transport to production areas.
- Accurately complete the necessary forms and adheres to scheduling due dates.
- Works safely at all times and complies with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Maintains equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
