The Rochester Knighthawks are seeking a Mascot Performer in Rochester, NY.

Requirements

• Experience performing in front of a crowd
• Good physical condition and ability to maintain good physical condition
• Ability to sit and stand for long durations
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to travel and transport costume and materials to off-site appearances and events as needed
• Comfortable being exposed to varying prevailing weather conditions and noise levels
• Strong stage presence and charisma
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required by the team schedule
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt quickly top changing circumstances
• Team-oriented approach

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a mascot performer is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Work in costume at assigned home games and events
• Support in-game promotions, fan interactions and marketing efforts
• Coordinate with operations and marketing staff on appearance scheduling
• Assist with maintenance of costume, props, and other equipment
