About The Position

For 35 years, ACTIVSTARS ATHLETICS has specialized in offering youth programs nationwide. We emphasize having fun while learning. ACTIVSTARS ATHLETICS allows our Martial Arts Instructors to teach their primary style, utilizing the ACTIVSTARS curriculum guidelines. Our class locations are held year-round, and we are looking for committed and dedicated instructors for long-term positions. Teaching responsibilities include class preparations, teaching students, overseeing class check-in, basic record-keeping, and promoting tournaments, camps, or clinics. Paid training sessions will cover our teaching guidelines, records, and on-site training with a veteran instructor. This is truly one of the most fun part-time jobs you can imagine for great pay! Requirements

All applicants must have a Black Belt in a Traditional Forms-Based Style
Have a passion for making a difference in a child's life.
Have a certified black belt in a “traditional” based martial art.
Have a style in Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, or equivalent forms-based martial arts.
Have a solid technical foundation.
Have solid knowledge of self-defense skills.
Are 18 years of age or older.
Have a reliable vehicle to get to and from the location(s).
