About The Position

As the Marketplace Seller Support Analyst , you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional support to external sellers on our Marketplace platform. You will be responsible for resolving operational, technical, and administrative inquiries, ensuring sellers have a smooth and efficient experience. The role involves managing day-to-day issue resolution, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to uphold service-level standards. This individual is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to maintain marketplace integrity and seller satisfaction. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in merchandising, ecommerce, marketplace, demand planning, supply chain, order management, or related business team
  • 1 year of experience with basic data analysis with an eye toward problem solving and optimization
  • 1 year of experience communicating and partnering with vendors/3rd party or customer support experience
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of marketplace ecosystems such as Amazon and Walmart
  • Experience working with technical business teams (product or engineering)
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide responsive seller support by addressing inquiries related to the product catalog, orders, payments, shipping, and platform functionality through email, chat, or phone.
  • Resolve operational and technical issues promptly, escalating complex cases to appropriate teams when necessary while maintaining clear communication with sellers.
  • Monitor and maintain seller account health, ensuring compliance with marketplace policies and performance standards (e.g. response times, OTD, etc.)
  • Document and update support resources, including FAQs and process guides, to enable consistent and efficient issue resolution.
  • Track and report support metrics, identifying recurring issues and providing feedback to enhance workflows and reduce future escalations.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of seller interactions and support tickets to ensure consistent communication.
