About The Position

This position involves servicing guests by mixing coffee drinks and tendering sales in a multi-purpose resort sundry store. The role requires providing superior service to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include serving various products, following recipes for coffee drinks, adhering to sanitation rules, performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning, managing cash and gift certificates, balancing paperwork, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. The attendant must also minimize waste, follow grooming standards, communicate with supervisors, and abide by the resort's environmental practices.

Requirements

Basic computer knowledge is required
Must be 17 years of age
Must have an understanding and friendly personality
Able to handle difficult guests in a quick and professional demeanor mandatory
Must be able to interact with multiple guests and staff at the same time and maintain a high level of professionalism
Good math skills
Must be able to work well on own and also in a team
Must be able to work in a fast-pace environment
Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment

Nice To Haves

Prior cash register and cash handling experience is preferred
Prior barista or bartending experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Serve coffee products, deli sandwiches, bakery goods, and all other outlet products to guests
Follow recipes and mix an assortment of coffee drinks
Follow all sanitation rules and regulations for marketplace
Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning required
Will be responsible for your own cash, bank key and gift certificates
Balance shift ending paperwork and daily cash drop
Complete all assignments requested of you
Maintain a high standard of sanitation and safety
Keep waste and spoilage to a minimum by proper rotation, storage, and usage of all food items
Must follow proper grooming and dress standards set forth by the Employee Handbook
Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of own area
Maintain open line of communication with supervisor
Must understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort
Other duties as assigned
